About the Artist

Shareen Clayton is a proud Wiradjuri woman, born and raised in Sydney, NSW. A passionate and talented artist, Shareen has spent over 20 years mastering her craft, inspired by both of her artistic parents and her deep connection to her Aboriginal heritage.

Shareen is highly regarded in her local community as a family cultural officer and teachers' aide, working across primary and high schools to share First Nations culture with the next generation. She is passionate about bringing Indigenous art into everyday learning environments, believing that when children grow up surrounded by culture, they grow up with stronger identities, deeper empathy, and a genuine appreciation for Australia's rich First Nations heritage.

Her artwork for Education National is designed exclusively for our products — created to bring beauty, story and cultural meaning into Australian classrooms every day.
